🌵With hints of natural silk, our cactus silk cushion have beautifully textured colorways. Made by hand on a traditional wooden loom, each cactus silk cushion cover is then meticulously faded under the Moroccan sun, adding exquisite tonal detail and depth to each one.
🇲🇦Each and every thread of our cactus silk cushions is hand loomed by skilled Moroccan artisans, who take several hours to create each cover out of love. All-natural cactus silk is extracted from the agave plant, spun, and coloured using natural dyes. The cushion covers have traditional Berber designs weaved into them while they are still on the loom. After the weaving is complete, the covers are placed out in the desert heat to finish the fading process, which gives them their lovely tonal appearance. Since each piece in our collection is made by hand, some of them have characteristic imperfections that should be appreciated for their character. * These are sold without fillings
🧽CARE GUIDELINES As a result of their natural dyeing, getting wet will discolour these beautiful cactus silk pillow covers. If they need to be cleaned, we advise bringing them to a dry cleaner. Avoid soaking or using a washing machine, as the colour will definitely run and transfer.
